Creating this challenge has been very healing for me; I entered the writing process in a pretty dark place, and I came out trusting and hopeful.

Women struggle with emotional eating and self-sabotage not because they are undisciplined or stuck in destructive patterns. They are challenged because they feel limited by others' expectations and self-beliefs about who they are and who they are allowed to be. They are lost for true direction, purpose, and life satisfaction.

Their eating is not about food or love of sugar, salt, and carbs. They are craving a different type of fullness: being fully alive!

Binge eating is nothing else but an escape from life, emotions, and discomfort of your current existence. Binge eating is losing control of what you really want and who you really are while controlling everything else that doesn't matter. This type of control will never feel satisfying.

In this challenge, you will learn how to stop checking out with the help of food when you feel stressed, overwhelmed, emotionally empty, unsatisfied, and misunderstood

How to stop this constant insatiable hunger that keeps you stuck in the loop of shame, self-loathing, bloating, burping, inflammation, yo-yo dieting, powerlessness, frustration, disappointment, and anger.

Your dream life starts on the other side of this fear. When you stop overeating, you will have no choice but to learn about who you are when you don't numb, and that's a true gift of this challenge - the beginning of a beautiful journey of self-discovery and the fullest expression of your talents and purpose.

Everything you do is by choice, and everything you do not do is equally by your own choice.

I don't care how perfectly you do your challenge, and I actually do not care so much about the manicured part of you. What I want to witness is the rejected, the ugly, the scared, the hidden - this is the part you need to take care of to end the cycle of bingeing.

My goal is to strip the shame that comes with your secret eating and keeps you stuck in the pattern. To show you that it is safe to unravel your truth.

Pull down the guards, rip the band-aid, shake the shame, and get really brutally honest with yourself, about the stuff you are so afraid to talk about. You are safe, and you have a choice to take a step back when things get shaky; just do not exit like you did many times before. 

Stay in the challenge, no matter what.

Your emotional eating doesn't have to define you anymore. You are not alone. The challenge will give you all the tools to dig into what is driving your compulsive eating and how to get free from the control food has over you.

  • you will feel all kinds of emotions
  • you will get distracted
  • you will self-sabotage

All these moments are the perfect opportunities for transformation through conscious choice. I ask you to stay in the room and participate; there is no need for perfection here. Bring all parts of you, especially the ones you've been rejecting, not just the ones you are proud of.

Now is the time to stop trying to force yourself out of this thing through diets, self-loathing, to just "be good and normal."

 

Now is the time to find out what is this never-ending hunger, the lack of satisfaction, the constant build-up of pressure and discomfort is all about.

  • Finding and living your purpose
  • Being true to yourself
  • Accepting yourself for who you are
  • Do the thing you want to do even when it feels scary
  • Letting go of the shoulds
